I end this week's posts with a poem by Sonny Carroll to celebrate my friend and sister, She is the voice to the widowed and even when fate made her one, it never knocked her down!
In life we do things. Some we wish we had never done. Some we wish we could replay a million times in our heads. but they all make us who we are. And in the end they shape every detail about us. If we were to reverse any of them we wouldn’t be the person we are. So just live. Make mistakes. Have wonderful memories. But never ever second guess who you are. Where you have been. and most importantly where it is you’re going. -unknown Our Women Crush this Friday! Celebrating women in business who continuously persist with perseverance, passion and purpose in their business. Crushing on MISS FIX IT @fredafrancis, CEO OASIS MEDSPA, a health, beauty and skin clinic. She has got a great A team. I am not joking. I have been there with Oga and he was tripped at the professionalism of the spa. On point sis. And you inspire me a lot. Love you and keep fixing it!
When you start seeing your worth and suddenly realize that you have always been stepped on for a very long time and you decide to stop being a doormat, you'll find it harder to stay around people who don't value you. The most important relationship you can have in life is one with yourself. If you have that, then any relationship is a PLUS and not a must.
Hard truth I told myself daily as a single girl years ago. "At some point Nky, you will realize that you have done too much for someone, that the only next possible step to do is to stop. Leave them
I alone decide how my book should be written.
I love this quote by Trent Shelton, "Sometimes you just have to turn the page to realize there’s more to your book of life than the page you’re stuck on. Stop being afraid to move on. Close this chapter of hurt, and never re-read it. It’s time to get what your life deserves, and move on from the things that don’t deserve you. Don’t try to fix what’s been broken in your past, let your future create something better".
Make the lines in your book very interesting to be worth any library shelf so as someone else can read and be blessed! Don't be ashamed of your struggles, your issues and your failures. Your book will be incomplete without this pages. Make the book worth reading and of course your end is always sweeter than the beginning!
Make friends only with those who understand what friendship means. Never judge people by hearsay! Be friends with someone who respects you and truly loves you. Someone who never belittles you. Even in the heat of an argument. Someone who is gentle with you, but does not treat you like you are fragile. Someone who knows what you are capable of, and celebrates those pieces of you. Not someone who is intimidated by your strength. Someone who can call you out for being a brat, but doesn’t make you feel guilty for being flawed. It is not love’s job to punish you.
This goes out to all of the people who have been broken, but have been strong enough to let go. For the people who have hurt so badly that they felt that they could never love again, but kept their
Today I will love to celebrate a dear friend and sister Mrs. Madey Tseja-Adeboye CEO Green Grill House. Mine oh mine! I remembered when and how she started. Bless you sis! Yes she sells SALAD! Out to watch her weight through healthy eating, my friend started eating green veggies and it became a passion which she turned into a business. Today she is a living proof why healthy food works and here she is today making millions just by making different genre of salad every morning to sell.
