My smile is God’s gift to me to replace my past tears

My body isn’t perfect but I walk with confidence. I don’t get into fights with friends or non friends, I am not razz, most of my midnight’s are spent praying and interceding for others, some other nights I’d rather be by myself meditating and reflecting of God’s faithfulness in my journey. I have been asked times without number if my smiles or laughter is fake and I wonder why?

Those smiles are my gift from God as a daughter of the most high God. A gift I was given to replace all my past tears. There are days I’m forced to use a fake smile and a fake laugh for fake people, sometimes I try to convince myself things are okay with certain people around me when they are not but I try not to let that bother me. I’m not ugly for although I have been called ugly to my face but I choose to be beautiful. I don’t look as good in real life as I do in pictures, I’m imperfect but I’m perfectly me.

Sometimes, I have to remind myself that I don’t have to do what everyone else is doing.

I am in competition with no one. I play no game of being better than anyone. I have no intention of running life’s race with anyone. I am simply trying to be better than the person I was yesterday.

I may not be perfect. I may not be gorgeous. But I’m me and that is okay with me. Because I’m naturally beautiful inside and that’s something those who envy me will never be.

I AM PERFECTLY ME!

I read this completely with a smile. I had just been admonishing someone about wanting to be like the Jones when even the Jones were just being themselves. I guess we ALL just have to constantly remind ourselves that (quoted from you) ‘Sometimes, I have to remind myself that I don’t have to do what everyone else is doing. I am in competition with no one. I play no game of being better than anyone. I have no intention of running life’s race with anyone. I am simply trying to be better than the person I was yesterday.’ Thanks for your ‘positiveness’, great smile and lovely spirit.

Smile is the only cosmetics that makes a woman outstands in her beauty, your smile is the beauty in you that tells how peaceful and sound your mind is, it is a medicine that gives hope to the heart and healing the bones marrow, smiles is a weapon that can frustrate a furious jealous enemy, Smiling is health living. You are divinely blessed from above.
