#soulsunday | Cry if you may but don’t let the past ruin your future
If someone treats you like crap, just remember there is something wrong with them, not you. Normal people don’t go around destroying other human beings. — Unknown
Don’t let past relationships and old mistakes ruin your future. Don’t let someone or something that didn’t make it in your life continue to hurt you. If you do, you’re still giving a portion of your life to something that no longer exists – it’s like letting your happiness slip into a black hole. Learn the lesson, release the pain, and move on. Scars remind us of where we have been, not where we are headed. — Unknown
Don’t allow the past to continue to hurt you. Ask God for grace to step away, move on, forgive and start a new chapter in your life. It is going to be a challenging journey, some days you’ll cry- let it flow, you will hurt- feel it BUT don’t stay there. Dry your tears and resolve to get past it, resolve to, “Forget the past and look forward to what lies ahead’, knowing that, “His grace is sufficient for you: and His strength is made perfect in your weakness”, because, “All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; He’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; He’ll always be there to help you come through it”.
