WHAT DO YOU SEE

WHAT DO YOU SEE | Eyob B. Kassa

There are many who have dreams but few have vision. There are many who see the visible but few see beyond the visible. There are many who see what is going on, but few can see beyond what is going on. What you see and how you see matter, because you only receive what you conceive. The ability to endure any circumstance is depending on your vision. It is vision that brings the future into your focus. If you still don’t understand the power of vision, you need to listen to what the scripture says in Prov. 29:28 “where there is no vision, the people perish.” In other words, when there is no vision there is always confusion and destruction. Before we go any further, allow me to ask you these questions, do you have a vision in your life? What do YOU see?

An old proverb says, “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there.” Without having a clear vision, you will literally be unfulfilled, dissatisfied, disorganized, empty and finally you will be perish. People who don’t have vision are people who settled themselves for failure and destruction. We create meaning in our lives by having a vision that is crystal clear and executable. There are two kinds of people in this world, those who know who they are and what they want to become. These people are very organized, confident, purpose-oriented, and organize their lives around that purpose. The second types of people are going through life wishing they had the passion and the energy evidenced by people with a purpose.

I like what Charles R Swindoll said, “when you have vision it affects your attitude.”  When you have vision not only your attitude but also your surrounding, attachment, interaction, and everything will be affected. Vision gives you a “champion mindset”, it keeps you focused, determined and persistent.

Now, where do you see yourself in these two categories?

It’s the middle of the week… What do YOU see?

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~ Steve Jobs

Have a great week! Weekday Coral Asoebi Inspiration.
